11 Royal View Apartments

Me and my family stayed in an apartment for the weekend away. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean , and all essentials were provided. We arrived at the place a couple of hours earlier, and there was no problem checking in before arranged time. Also, the apartment has two double beds, and because I have two teenage sons, we asked for an extra bed. There was no problem with that, and an extra bed was provided with no extra charge. I strongly recommend the apartment for either short or long stay.

While not centrally located, the property is quite close (15 minute walk) to Stirling Castle, which is the main attraction of the area. It was also quite close to multiple supermarkets. This was very nice. The property was quite clean and had a nice view (we were on the 3rd floor). Parking was available on site (which we appreciated). Beds were very comfortable (though pillows were a bit tough) and bathroom facilities were clean and easy to use.

As with most self catering places, the knives were completely dull and the kitchen lacked a few amenities such as a sieve. As well, we were on the 3rd floor and there was no lift in the facility. Not a bad thing, but something to keep in mind if travelling with older family members or anyone with limited mobility.

Loved how modern and clean it was. Clean lines, well-appointed, and super comfy beds! (Just wish the bed was a little larger.) Beautiful views - can see the castle! Very nice surprise to find a large array of condiments, oils, sugar and spices in the cabinet. Washer/dryer worked great. Shower pressure is good. Having a dishwasher is wonderful. Fridge size is excellent. The 5 of us fit and were comfortable. Locations is excellent - whether local or traveling to Edinburgh/Glasgow etc. supermarket within walking distance. Peaceful neighborhood with a park and soccer nets.

The beds were a little small. My husband is 6’4” and to put 2 of us in a double bed is a stretch, even when it is super comfy! The owner/company could be a little more responsive - We had a very drippy kitchen faucet which I requested to be fixed the same evening we arrived, and it didn’t happen, but it didn’t upset our stay. Cooking pans/frying pNs could be a little larger.

The location was further outside Stirling than I would have liked Not many taxis and had to walk everywhere

Very functional, great location for car access and touring., good off road parking. We like it having stayed there three times before.

The chest of draws in the bedrooms are not tied back to the walls and fall towards you when you put anything in the draws. No curtains on the balcony access doors hence no privacy when in the kitchen/diner.

The perfect location for our family trip, lovely little balcony for summer nights - second time staying here and will come back again for sure 😊
