Luxury Seaside Apartment

It is in a great position in Eastbourne . The flat is very well equipped and comfortable

There was nothing to dislike

Location was perfect, near the sea front and food shops. Great apartment, lovely size, spotlessly clean and secure private parking. As we took my elderly Mum, it was perfect inside as all the doorways were wide enough to fit a wheel chair through. The master bedroom had a hand rail in the shower which helped for my Mum. The host was very accommodating, and answered any questions before hand and on arrival that I had. Complimentary coffee, tea and biscuit basket left for arrival, as well as a bottle of fizz, hand soap and washing up liquid in the kitchen. This was a lovely gesture.

The kitchen was lovely and big, surprised that it did not have a washing machine. Could do with clear information on the welcome pack on how to use all the kitchen appliances. Found the bed a little hard for my liking. However I do realise that this is very subjective as some people prefer a firmer mattress. There are a few wide steps up to the apartment, and a high step into the apartment which you need to consider if you have someone who is not very mobile with you. My Mum did find it difficult to walk up them and there is quite a few. As the flat is so large we found it quite chilly in the evening. There were no throws to be able to snuggle up in. We couldn't work out why the heating was not working on the thermostat, so ended up pulling the quilts off the beds to keep warm. We did contact the host who explained the heating was turned off to be more eco friendly this time of year, however as the heating is controlled by the host remotely she turned it on for the rest of our stay which was perfect. It may be a good idea to have this written in the welcome information, especially if guests have elderly or young with them staying.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. We felt at home.

There was an electrical problem in the apartment during our second week but it was speedily repaired with great concern. Extra heating was supplied and we were very comfortable. Thank you.

This is one of the nicest apartments we have stayed at. Plenty of room and the location is excellent. Everything was done to make our stay enjoyable. Would rent it again!

The only confusing thing was the on/off buttons/switches in the kitchen. Would be nice to label them so you would know to what light/appliance it turns on. But this did not affect our stay. Just a friendly suggestion.
