Stunning Waterfront Western harbour Apartment

Gorgeous view, excellent location that was easy and easy stroll along the waterfront to catch the tram, bus or open top bus into the heart of the city. Beds SUPER comfy and the apartment is very spacious. Great pick for a lively stay.

Would have liked a full mirror or even a makeup style mirror in the rooms (besides the vanity desk room).

Nice view overlooking the esturary

Property is very much in need of a deep clean, and some care and attention. On entering the apartment we were greeted by the view of an open hallway drawer which was filthy inside and contained an old sock. The living room door handle is fitted upside down and, instead of fixing it, there is a tatty sign advising to pull the handle up instead of down. There are tatty, peeling stickers on walls and wardrobes. The chair in one of the bedrooms is flaking and scruffy. The dishwasher handle is missing, so to open it, you have to open both doors of the cupboards to either side and try to fit your fingers into the edge of the dishwasher enough to pull it open (hurt my fingers trying to do this). There are rocks hanging on the cords for the all of the blinds, even the one hanging over the head of one of the single beds, and there are no safety hooks on any of them (the cords for the kitchen blinds dangle at toddler head height). The sun is mostly at the back of the apartment and there are doors leading to a back patio, but they are broken and do not open. I noticed other reviewers commenting on this a while ago, so it’s a shame it hadn’t been addressed as it would have been nice to sit outside (although the patio would need a clean up - there is a half-full bottle of wine and smashed plant pot sitting on it). Overall, a very disappointing stay.

Velmi prostorný apartmán v naprosté blízkosti moře, vybavený vším potřebným. V blízkosti je vyhlášená restaurace na fish and chips, obchod otevřený 24/7. Autobusové spojení do centra města tři minuty chůze.

Wonderful waterfront location

The location is perfect for visiting Edinburgh especially as the parking is free and there is a bus or tram to transport you into the city centre. The bed was large and comfortable. Easy check in instructions.

Although the host was available to answer questions, it would have been better if there was a guide book/manual with instructions on how to work things like the radiators which were not on when we arrived and we couldn’t get all of them on. A hair dryer is not on the list of facilities but really should be a basic gadget.

Info vooraf was prima, locatie even buiten Edinburgh ook (ruim uur loopafstand naar centrum), alles zeer schoon en netjes en de bedden waren comfortabel l.
