Cozy Two Bedroom Apartment - A Stroll from Gardens to Beach - With Parking and WiFi

Comfortable beds, towels provided, welcome pack of toilet rolls, tea/coffee provided. Large bathroom with good water pressure. Walk to the beach is pleasant through the public gardens.

Strong smell of damp, especially in one of the bedrooms - there is a large patch of damp behind a strategically placed painting. Had to leave the windows open constantly to make it bearable. Owner needs to sort asap. The balcony is not safe - there is a panel missing from barrier which I didn't see at first - my toddler walked straight through it onto the roof of whatever was below. Luckily I was able to grab him back before he got out of reach. The walls could do with a fresh coat of paint.

The shower has strong water pressure. That is all.

I've been using booking.com for years now. And I've had good and not so great experiences. But l've never left a bad review. This is a run down of the negatives: Hair all over, dirty bath/towel rail, fruit flies, mouldy smell, dust, dirty floors, filthy rug that sheds, dirty walls, lots of spiders, random pictures on wall ms to hide all the leaks, dangerous mirror in main bedroom not affixed to wall (we have a 4yo). When I saw the front of the property i was convinced i was at the wrong location , the inside wasn't any better. Had we not driven close to 4 hours I would have turned back. My daughter is allergic to dust mites and she had the worst flare up. The bath was dirty, hairs left everywhere. It was freezing until 10 mins before bed (I txt the number given no reply). We couldn't bear to stay another night and checked out by 11am. Not even an acknowledgement from the host when we messaged to say we left a whole day early. Waste of close to £400.

parking steep incline to the drive if your cars low like mine was your at risk of catching the bottom. They cut the hedges whilst my car was on the drive and covered it with pure mess and stone chips didn't bother knocking my door and telling me to move it. A full night of banging from upstairs. Told the host about this as i spent £30 cleaning the car and 3 hours polishing it but didn't bother compensating me. The decor in the apartment needs doing as you got water and damp looking marks on the walls. Not enough cutlery or big pans.

Location and flat very spacious and confortable however a little attention to details could be beneficial i.e lots of dust amd mess under bed and the grout in bathroom needs dealing with we was unable to use freezer due to it needing defrostinh door is unable to close fridge also needs attention as it is not very cold despite being on the highest setting

Comfy sofas, and comfy beds. Parking a bonus when there wasn't someone in the space. Handy for shops like Aldi

Unfortunately the kitchen facilities weren't great, the freezer doesn't shut / isn't usable meaning the fridge also was struggling, the ignitors on the gas hob don't work and we sat down to eat only to find there were only 2 forks!
