I was looking for a quiet place to stay as I am fed up staying in noisy hotels on Friday and Saturday nights in Belfast. This apartment was in a quiet peaceful country setting. It was warm and the host had provided milk and some scones and treats which were a very welcome sight. The place was spotless. I didn’t give the place an exceptional rating for one simple reason. The double bed was uncomfortable and I would encourage the owners to replace the mattress. It was lumpy in places. I was able to sleep in a single bed that was also in the room which was perfectly fine but if travelling as a couple this would have affected the quality of the stay.

The double bed had a mattress that was uncomfortable and not up to standard.

Great location for Hillsborough House and gardens. Clean and comfortable. All the cooking facilities you require on a short stay
