Woodvale Flat, Renton, Loch Lomond

James the host met us at the property and gave us a guided tour of the apartment, which was way better than the photos 😍 lots of DAD'S, board games and info on the surrounding area, lovely place to stay close to amenities including train/bus to Glasgow/ Balloch. and not far from dumbarton /balloch. would deffo stay here again, and will be letting my family know of this lovely flat/apartment

Great host, super welcoming! Clean home

It did what it was supposed to do. It was a reasonably priced stay in a decent apartment. We liked having two bedrooms and being able to park right outside the house and go to Glasgow by train. The owner/manager was easy to get in touch with and accommodating. It was certainly ok for a couple of nights.

There is nothing we did NOT like, except maybe that the apartment is on a major road and it can be noisy (also the neighbours must have a kid who likes to run around late at night… but that is nobody’s fault). Just to say if you need silence this place is not for you. The bathroom is very very small. If you are very tall it might be a problem. The second bedroom is ok for two kids: the bed would be too small for two adults. The house was clean enough but nothing seemed especially well kept: only 4 forks, knives and spoons, 4 cups, one of a different set, very old and small pots and pans, etc., 3 bags of sugar left at the bottom of a dusty jar, for example. Nothing wrong with the apartment for a couple of nights, it just seems that it can do with a bit of love and some new things. ;)

Spacious, backyard, big kitchen, parking, friendly host, lovely green couch

On the morning of arrival, the heating and hot water were not available because the boiler had broken down. This was very inconvenient, but the owner was firm and agreed to refund part of the accommodation fee.

Good flat with good amenities. Everything you need for a short break away.

Only thing was there was only three cups with four of us.
