Milkwood Cottage

Location was perfect, short walk to Corwen! The cottage was lovely and cute!

Nothing! Everything was lovely!

The hosts, the location and accommodation all exceptional. Nick and his wife are lovely people and wonderful hosts. Nick greeted us on arrival and gave us directions on where to park (right outside). Really good with the grandchildren, took us all down to the stream, showed us a few of the walks nearby, picked blackberries for with the children, gave them food for the fish in the pond and various outside toys to play with. Quick brief on the cottage its self and then left us to settle in - called back a while later just to check we had everything we needed. Corwen is a short walk or shorter drive away and it has a great park for the children, an ice cream parlour/cafe/bar with outside seating and lots of flowers in bloom. There's a bakery and a chip shop even a museum and a lovely train station. After a walk in the woods we saw Nick and his wife on the patio and they promptly invited us to join them, the children had a fabulous time I nearly could't get them to sleep for all the excitement. THANK YOU :)

That we couldn't stay longer. Saying that we would of needed a larger fridge and probably a bigger couch - its a little small for four of us!

We had issues with the tv. But I’m sure Nick could’ve sorted it if we’d asked.

Corwen was very central for our visit. Snowdonia & Wrexham were on the doorstep!!! We're planning another visit soon to explore the coast better.

Nothing really. The kitchen/dining area was a bit cramped, but we could easily manage the space.

Nick and family were so welcoming, never intrusive, but there if needed. The cottage had everything we needed and the location was beautiful 😍

The weather at times and the fact we had to leave!

Was in a truly idyllic spot with incredible views. Everything was spotlessly clean with everything needed - utensils equipment cleaning products etc. comfy beds and lovely bathroom with amazing shower. Garden was wonderful with ample seating sun loungers and hammock. Even a putting hole and golf clubs!!

Lovely location by the river. Easy parking, nice garden to chill out. Had everything we needed for a comfy couple of days

The house was very clean, in a beautifull area. We used the barbeque and grilled some Welsh steaks! We where a family of four and enjoyed a lot our stay there.
