The Mews

The position of the apartment is wonderful with a very short walk to shops, pubs, restaurants, the harbour and river. Free parking place right next to the door to the apartment. Very comfortable beds. The apartment is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen and is spacious. The weather turned cold whilst we were staying there in October. One quick call to the office and the housekeeper turned up very quickly to put the heating on for us. The apartment is dog friendly, very cosy and warm. There is no garden for the dog to use but there is a small park area a short 5 minute walk away. We definitely hope to stay at The Mews again.

We had to leave after 3 nights. We would have liked to have stayed longer, especially as Dartmouth Food Festival is taking place this coming weekend.

Having to chase parking permit a couple of times.

The location was superb, very close to everything. The rooms were all large & had everything we needed. Parking was a bit tight to make sure my car was tucked in enough but it was OK. The property is huge inside & very spacious. I would recommend it.

The kitchen larder door was missing. The lino held together with tape, The sink was badly stained! The bathroom had mould on the tiles & we had to search for the plugs. The bathroom door had also been forced & was help together with screws & no latch on it. The central heating stat didn't work, the boiler was either on or off. The bathroom window was clear glass & therefore you had to have the blind permanently closed. The blinds are all broken too. Being a building surveyor I tend to notice more than most people as this is my job. People have to work hard for their money & the property needs a few hundred pounds of investment to make it fantastic!

Comfortable, reasonably well-equipped flat in a central (but surprisingly quiet) location near the market. Parking right outside - unusual in the centre of Dartmouth! Very convenient for our stay for a walking weekend, and the owners were very accommodating when we wanted to arrive a day earlier than originally planned.

Decoratively a bit tired (though everything worked), and frosted glass would have been useful next to the toilet. Quite 'impersonal', e.g. no local guides or reading material. The views from the windows aren't great, but we knew that before booking so nothing to complain about.

It's a very tired property in need of redecorating throughout.

It was a little tired and could do with a revamp. The windows could do with a good clean on the outside.
