Parkway House - Modern with great transport links

Really handy location for visiting UWE/ close to a train station. Nice and clean. Appreciated the quick communication, when I had a query. I liked the fact there was some tea /coffee / biscuits for when we arrived late at night.

This is minor, but a cafetiere / stove top coffee maker would have been great. There was a pod coffee machine, but only 3 pods... that's only one cup of coffee per guest.

Very clean and comfortable property in convenient location.

The sofa bed in the lounge was rather firm and we would have preferred a more comfortable sofa. The lounge lighting was a bit dim. For us personally, as we had visiting family with small children on one occasion, the open plan layout with stairs in the lounge was not ideal, but this probably wouldn't be a problem for others,

Location a little out of city centre but manageable.

The location was perfect for what we were doing. Everything was spotless except for the washing machine which we had planned to use but it was quite mouldy inside. The house is extremely comfortable.

The owner is probably not aware of the state of 5he washing machine.

The house is beautifully appointed, very fresh and nicely decorated throughout. Loved the art work on the walls that linked to the city of Bristol, the interior design has been very well thought out. The kitchen had everything you needed for a comfortable stay, great clean oven, dishwashers, washing machine as well as the use of household items such as dishwashers tablets, detergents etc. The beds were very comfortable as was the bedding, the shower was impressive and had a great water pressure. Again toiletries were available to use. There was a nice outdoor patio & garden for you to use as well as patio furniture which was lovely. As well as board games for you to use whilst you stay. There is an Sainsbury, Lidl, Range only a few miles from the house which we found very handy. We stayed in the house as we was visiting the Bristol Hot Balloon Fiesta from the Thursday to Sunday and found the house an ideal base for travelling to and from the Hot Air Fiesta, as well as visiting Bristol, Cheddar Gorge and Bath. Would we stay again, definitely would I recommend the house most certainly. Richard was a wonderful host and kept us well informed and any queries we had he answered them straight away, we were fortunate enough to be allowed to access the property earlier on the Thursday which we found very beneficial especially as was going to the Hot Air Balloon Festival on the Thursday evening. Plus it was a wonderful to see all the Hot Air balloons pass by the house on the Friday evening. Many thanks Richard.

My only very minor comment would be that the TV didn’t have Netflix, not an issue for me but my teenage daughter missed it in the evening.

Spotlessly clean. Great attention to detail…even the toilet roll looked nice! Everything we needed was there. Would definitely book again.
