The Stonehouse, in the heart of Ballycastle

location was excellent, host very pleasant bed very comfortable

although it appeared clean it would have needed a deep clean to bring it to a higher standard. The towels were clean but threads were pulled in them, the shower door was grubby and tiles were grubby, the walls and skirting in the entrance area and stairs leading to kitchen was grubby and would need fresh painting. Bed lien not ironed, TV remote was dirty. When you walk into the apt there was a stale smell. More effort with cleaning could turn this around from a standard let to a 5 star let.

Lovely cottage. Clean and tidy and everything we needed was there. The sun was out so we sat outside for a while and it was peaceful. Hard to believe when you walk out the gate you are right in the town!!

Location good. Spacious.

No general instructions. No shower instructions. No Wifi password provided. No hand towels or small face towels. Bath towels line dried.

Upstairs bedroom is loud in downstairs bedroom, you can hear the upstairs guest toss and turn in bed

Centrally located, nice and private. Beautiful interior.

Very cold the radiators were off on arrival and hard to heat the property as the radiators wouldn't work manually.
