Oak & Hazel, Heath Row Barn

The bath tub is absolutely amazing! It’s huge. Myself and my two girls all had a bath together which was so much fun haha. But the property is clean, smells fresh and is well equipped with everything you could need for a self catering home away from home get away. There was nothing I personally needed that wasn’t provided. The pictures provided are true to the property, and in person it’s bigger. On this trip we met Emelie and her daughter face to face and they were both very nice, chatty, welcoming, and just genuine, beautiful people!! If you love the countryside and just want some peace and tranquillity to refresh, rest and rest then I cannot recommend this property enough.

The master bed mattress was too firm for me personally.

Perfect location for attending a wedding at Oakley Hall - 5 minutes drive away. Lovely bright apartment with beautiful views over fields. We only stayed 2 nights but would like to return for longer.

Spacious, comfortable and clean property

Felt a little bit anxious staying with a dog - didn't find out about all the dog policies and cost until after the booking.

Spacious, very comfortable and really well equipped. Gorgeous location- very quiet and peaceful.

The property was brilliant. It had one of the better kitchens I've been in. There was enough space and the breakfast table was perfect and extendable. Everything about it was brilliant - definitely a place I will add to visit again.

The bathroom door did not lock properly. One of them we were able to fix. The unit above ours had a similar issue. The owner did say they would look into this.

Hazel Barn was amazing. The apartment was clean, tidy and the bedrooms and bathroom are huge. We stayed for 2 and half weeks whilst building work was completed on our house and I have to say it was a real home from home and had everything we required. As an aside the location was beautiful, deer, pheasants and rabbits galore running around in the fields outside and the family guinea fowl were amusing to watch clucking around the grounds. Emilie was very accommodating when we asked to extend our stay and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in the countryside and enjoy misty early morning views over farmlands and fields.

My only comment would be it needed a bigger TV, but we were using it as a home from home so perhaps if you are staying for a short holiday this wouldn't be an issue.

Being about to hear the people upstairs and all the cleaning we had to do at the end of the visit. Unfortunately the bathroom wasn’t particularly clean with beard hair all over the sink and the oven needs a good clean as was smoking when was on
