The Hide

Ideal for my trip and purpose

The Hide was a little home away from home. When we arrived the heating was already on making it feel even more cosy. Lynne provided chocolates, bananas, oats and a carton of fresh milk to start us off. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. We ate in each night and everything we needed to cook with was provided.

The only thing that would have appreciated that wasn’t there would be a folder of useful information about the area and the dining options, a map of the area, emergency numbers etc

The property was as described in all the reviews. Quiet street, easy parking, private, close to everything in Ullapool, comfortable. No contact with the host, none needed.

Gorgeous location and beautifully presented - perfect for any stays in ullapool for work or fun.

Such a gorgeous interior and so relaxing to hang out in the hide.

This was the perfect small hideaway for two people. Beautifully appointed and decorated very new, scrupulously clean, well equipped, everything we needed. The bedroom was a bit small, but it had a large bed, which was great. The bathroom was very nice…lovely big shower. In walking distance of all the amenities in Ullapool.

These are just very small niggles… Instructions for the cooker and the heating would have been helpful, but the owner came over to help us as soon as I called her on the phone.

Spotless. Great shower. WiFi fantastic. Comfortable bed. Everything you need. Private entrance. Perfect for exploring the wonders of Coigach and Assynt. Plenty of parking. Loved it. Funny Polish chickens in the next door garden.

Ideal location. Comfortable, well appointed and homely.

The Hide was cosy and welcoming, with all necessary facilities, and in a good central location.

The only downside was the lack of a view in a very scenic part of the country!

Almost everything. Shower far better than most. Very clean. Every facility you could wish for.

Despite there being good lighting everywhere else, it seemed to be lacking over the cooking and washing up area. And although virtually every facility, eg dishwasher, I could not find a dishcloth for the small amount of washing my wife and I used. Also felt guilty on leaving as no instructions as to how to dispose of waste. Did phone owner but told just to leave as she would do it.
