The Hide

Logement cosy et bien équipé, au calme bien qu'au coeur de Ullapool. Pas de vue, mais un bon rapport qualité - prix.

Wir haben bei einer Reise auf die Äußeren Hebriden und durch Nordschottland drei Tage in Ullapool verbracht. Die Unterkunft hat unsere Erwartungen bei weitem (!) übertroffen – sie hat Charme und Stil, ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ausgesprochen gemütlich (was angesichts der schottischen Wetterverhältnisse machmal durchaus von Bedeutung sein kann). In der Wohnung haben wir absolut nichts vermisst, was einen angenehmen und problemlosen Aufenthalt ausmacht; der Fußweg zum Supermarkt ist kurz, genauso wie man schnell an der Hafenpromenade und in der Innenstadt mit den Pubs und Restaurants ist. Fast müßig zu erwähnen, dass auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Lynne völlig unproblematisch und vorbildlich ablief. In der Liste der Unterkünfte, die wir auf dieser Reise gehabt haben, verdient sich The Hide mit Abstand den Spitzenplatz – also eine glasklare und unbedingte Empfehlung!

Quiet, spacious. Very well equipped. Washing machine was very convenient.

Perfect little hideaway with everything you could possibly need. Clean, well furnished, comfy bed and super shower room. Lovely touches, milk in the fridge, fresh fruit and cereals make such a difference. I would highly recommend a stay at the Hide.

Location

The Hide was exactly what we needed. Perfect size and location for exploring Ullapool and getting the ferry, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The outside space was lovely and much appreciated, as were the little decor touches inside. We would definitely consider staying there again if in the area.

Not much! The freezer compartment door in the fridge did need a bit of attention but once that's sorted, perfect in every way

Very very well done - the owners had thought of everything and had managed to fit everything in without it feeling cluttered.

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like (other than we can’t bring our dog - but we totally understand that sometimes he can’t go places!
