Bridge Square Apartments

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The apartments are in a very unique, reasonably modern, building on huge stilts which tower over a listed building which was Lancaster Corporation Bus Depot. It's a Marmite building - you'll either love it or hate it.

Because of the nature of the building there are lots of doors where you have to enter a key code and you really have to use a lift (7 floors), and the fire doors are numerous and very heavy. Not suitable for anyone frail or elderly.

Good location close to town with parking. Spacious and clean.

The accommodation is close to Lidl(supermarket), which is convenient to buy foods. It is clean and spacious. It has a stove in the kitchen. The greeting email and information in the room was kind and informative. The room has a great view.

However, there are no people in the building who can provide services to visitor, so I had to call whenever I need information. Also, there are no fire extinguisher or sprinkler system in the room, which made me to feel unsafe. On 3rd floor, there were only few people who manage the building and they are not kind and not willing to help visitors because each room has different owners. Visitors had to bring out all trash or litters before checking out. I did not know how to separate food waste, so I put them into general waste.

The property is nice and clean and ideal for family. Lidl next door is great for grocery if you plan to cook in the apartment. Also the city center is just about 10 - 15 mins walk from the property.

Sofas were not very comfortable. The kitchen itself was nice but sparsely equipped for self catering. Couldn’t even find a wooden spoon or vegetable peeler. Mould on the bathroom ceiling.
