Hassop Station Apartment on the Monsal Trail

Nice location and terrace

We’ve booked a room for 3 people. Once we’ve moved in, we have realised that the room is missing 3rd set of linen, towels and pillow - only duvet was available. We immediately informed the owner but received no linen for the first night. Next morning we saw a cleaner and asked them to give us a set - as we were in the rush, we didn’t have time to wait so we just asked for a linen. We did expect towels to just be given later, as we have left for the whole day but no one checked how many sets of what we actually have - hence, we never had a third set of towels and the third set of pillows. Additionally, on our second night we’ve noticed a lot of bugs in our room. Most of them were on the floor of the rooms and the shower, but one was in the cupboard with the mugs! As it was past 10pm and it was our last night, we didn’t think about texting or taking any pictures - no one responded or did anything in the day, what are the chances issues are going to be resolved in the middle of the night? We’ve been declined any compensation unfortunately. The price point is really what’s concerning there - have we paid £50 per night, these issues would have been at least explainable. But we’ve paid a price of a hotel room in zone 1 London with literally no basic service.

Location in the middle of greeenlands, very close to nearby towns n country side. Home is well equipped with all required amenities

Extremely comfortable. Limited parking but you get a free voucher for the car park in cafe which is fine. Lovely large bed and pleasant garden to sit in. Cafe about 150 yards away at edge of site which does excellent food with good choices

We were travelling as a family with a young toddler so having a cot and bedding provided, plus a really big bed made for a more comfortable stay. Also being minutes from Hassop Station Cafe and its playground was much appreciated! The house was beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean, and the real star attraction was the location, a few minutes walk from the Monsal trail which we cycled (taking advantage of the discounted bike hire from Hassop Station.

The location was good for the Monsal trail with a nice café on the doorstep with cycle hire too. The apartment was well maintained and had everything you needed. The instructions on how to get into the property and where to park were clear and correct. Shower was good and the bed was comfortable.

The lack of information in the property resulted in us having a bright bedroom from the outside light and passing vehicles, it was only when checking out that we saw the folded away blinds!! The TV in the lounge wouldn't access any apps i. e. Player and the bathroom light was a mystery until we tapped the mirror. I requested a 1 hour earlier check-in time but was not responded too. Small issues all easily remedied with more attention to detail.
