Kitchener Cottage Swanage very close to beach

It was spacious clean and very well equipped xx

The only thing was the bedroom top window needs a blind but we still slept great the bed was sooooo comfortable THANKU

It is clean and comfortable with all facilities we needed.

The apartment is not located well within the building and lacks windows in the kitchen/living area.

A real gem. In the heart of town, very close to the sea, but still very peaceful.

Not the host's problem, but WiFi is patchy, but it can be accessed out and about in town.

Very enjoyable stay - everything was perfect. Flat was to a very high standard and bed was really comfortable. Liz Is a perfect host and has created two perfect getaways in Swanage. We Hope to return.

This is my third stay at the cottage and each time it’s been a perfect stay and it never disappoints. The cottage has always been freshly cleaned upon arrival and always smells so lovely which is an added bonus! The kitchen is fully equipped for what we’d need (we enjoy cooking when we’re not eating elsewhere!) The beds are huge and super comfy, so you will always have a perfect nights sleep, fully rested for the next day. Liz is also such a great host, she will tell you the best spots for parking so you’re not paying more than you need to and there are also lots of leaflets in the cottage for places you can visit in and around the area which we always find super helpful. Liz also accommodated by moving another bed into the living area so my mum and I could have our own space in the evening if we’d like to. Liz’s cottage has become our favourite annual destination, we always look forward to coming back!

Nothing! We got a little chilly in the evenings but there’s radiators which are super easy to use & will warm you up!

A beautiful characterful apartment with a modern, tasteful decor. Spacious, well equipped, and spotlessly clean throughout.The location is excellent, opposite the promenade and 5 mins from a long stay car park. As the apartment is at the rear of the building, it is quiet day and night. I was astounded to read a review left by the previous guests regarding supposed insect infestations. We found no evidence of this and could question their motives. Liz was a great host who takes pride in maintaining very high standards.

Location was as expected.

There were a considerable number of shortfalls, however the overwhelming negative problem which affected the entire stay and led to early departure was the presence of cockroach infestation and carpet beetle larvae. Both seriously harmful to human health. Photographs have been taken, a letter and samples of the pests left for the host. A refund has been requested and we await a response via an email address provided in the letter to the host. No other guest should have to endure this - it needs to be reported and dealt with.

Very roomy and comfortable and so conveniently situated in the High Street so close to restaurants and all amenities. The facilities were very good and the shower was clean and powerful. The bed was super comfy and so large, my wife and I slept beautifully. Liz was great, met us on arrival and helped us in with the luggage as we were parked up on double yellows, and then gave us her parking spot. A great place to stay in Swanage highly recommend ir

We were warned that it may be difficult to get parked near, but we were very lucky getting residents spaces out the front. Tip come in around 6pm! Only one day we had to park 5 minutes walk up the hill.
