The Wee Nook Birnam

the road to the property was dreadful. the property above had a squeaky floor and loud footsteps the sitting out area was where someone else parked

The location was so quiet yet close to all the local amenities. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for our family of 4. Great walks in Birnam and Dunkeld, close to Perth and lots of options for eating out nearby.

The sofa bed was not very comfy and would benefit from a new mattress or mattress topper. That was the only negative about our stay as everything else was great.

Found it quite dirty , dog hairs in corners fridge had food debris oven not clean floors sticky , very grubby throughout needs a deep clean Also shower very temperamental, went from freezing to scalding Road very potholed , outside space not easily accessible as no back exit

The location was great…just a few minutes walk from the train station and very much in central Birnam while just being a short walk along river to Dunkeld. Very spacious property and bed was very comfortable…all the amenities could possibly need!

First few days there were people above us and we could hear footsteps when we were in bed.

The Wee Nook was a cute little cottage in a beautiful part of the country. The kitchen was lovely and well equipped and the bedroom comfortable. The nearby attractions of Dunveld and Beatrix Potter house were lovely to wander in. Highly recommended

Nothing really. The road leading in was heavily pot holed which made driving interesting.

Convenient for purpose

Little things that show a lack of interest eg. Clocks all hours out, bulb and light not working in bathroom, radio not working, no kitchen paper on the holder, dead daddy long legs stuck in cobweb, etc Couldn’t get in when first arrived as the key was not in the key safe.

Very cosy little cottage. Well equipped.

There is room for improvement with regards to cleaning.
