Eu, minha esposa e mais 2 amigos gostamos muito da localização, do espaço, da prontidão de Clare em nos receber. As instalações estavam em ótimo estado, casa totalmente equipada de acordo com nossa necessidade. Utilizamos a casa para dormir, já que chegamos às 23 horas e partimos as 9 da manhã.

Infelizmente as roupas de camas deixaram a desejar. Minha esposa e eu dormimos na cama, onde o cobertor estava com cheiro de cigarro. Mesmo o apartamento informando que não poderia fumar lá. Mas havia cheiro de cigarro no cobertor e somos alérgicos a cigarro. Quanto aos travesseiros estavam com cheiro de uso. E tivemos de usar roupas nossas limpas e vestir os travesseiros para que pudessemos não sentir cheiro desagradável. Nossos amigos também tiveram de vestir os travesseiros com suas roupas próprias e o cobertor deles estava pior em mau cheiro, o cheiro era de suor e bem desagradável. Procuramos roupa de cama nova no guarda roupa e não achamos. Enfim, nossos amigos decidiram por remover o cobertor e sentiram frio mesmo usando o aquecedor. O apartamento no geral estava em ótimas condições, mas dormir bem e com cheirinho de limpeza também conta muito.

We travelled as a family (2 adults & 2 boys). The location is amazing, right in the centre which means no travel time for tired legs after a day exploring the beautiful city!

There wasn't anything we didn't like, the place was lovely and gave us the space to unwind that you wouldn't get in a hotel room.

The location was amazing, it couldn't have been more central. .The apartment was well equipped, spotless and extremely comfortable. The host was responsive and pro active in her communication with us. We had a great stay.

There was no way to drive upto the apartment to drop bags as roads are closed off. This was not mentioned before hand, so spent an hour driving in circles. It was very difficult to find the property as we'd never been to York and navigating was a nightmare as street names and Google didn't match. It is tucked down an alley between two shops that you would never see in the dark. Only slightly easier if you can get in through the back Poor lighting, alot of the bulbs were out, including all of the lights at the bottom of the stairs Tight, narrow and polished wood spiral stairs. There were NO safety measures on the stairs, such as grip panels/strips on the treds, which I fell on and damaged myself badly enough to need A&E. I was sent home with red flags to look for, collapsed lung due to the rib damage, concussion and bleeding on the brain. I couldn't do half the things we'd planned as I was too sore from my injuries.

Perfect location

Wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues but I think that’s clear from the outset.

Just what we wanted . Perfectly positioned in the centre of York

Spiral stairs

Location was ideal and host was really helpful. We knew in advance about spiral staircase and takes a bit of getting used, everything in property that you need. Would stay again if going back to York.
