Emma's apartment is on the first floor of a detached, small, solid stone house. When you enter you feel very comfortable from the first moment. Everything is stylishly furnished with great attention to detail. The oak floor, the stuccoed ceiling, the chandeliers, the small benches in the windows. The many pictures and the old pieces of furniture convey a cozy atmosphere. The kitchen offers everything you need. It has a washing machine with integrated tumble dryer. The bathroom is spacious and just as stylishly furnished. The two bedrooms are also furnished in the same style with long decorative curtains. An ideal place to discover Scotland.

There was a gas fireplace. But we couldn‘t make it work although we have read the instructions carefully.

Such a well thought through, clean and well presented apartment. The owners had clearly spent time thinking about what would make the stay comfortable and enjoyable for anyone staying. The little touches like a welcome pack and ample cleaning stuff were gladly received. Absolutely loved the bath!!

For 2 large adults we found the double bed a little small. But that probably wouldn't be an issue for most couples.

Light-filled, comfortable and a great location. Beautifully furnished with freshly upgraded kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Having a "home away from home". It's a very well equipped apartment, with well thought of details. Nice mixture of classic and contemporary decoration (nothing wrong with some IKEA!) and fine art. Stores & restaurants in the neighbourhood. Easy starting point for trips around, The Hill House by Charles Rennie Macintosh is close - and certainly worth a visit.

The double bed is very good, but if you both are tall/big it might be a challenge. There is another bedroom with two single beds, so traveling as a couple will never be a problem. Parking is on the (quiet) street which can be crowded.

bright and spacious. Great seats-always somewhere to put a drink. Loved the window seats. Excellent quality Kitchen and bathroom. Comfy beds.

Often struggled to find an on street parking space in same street.
