Beautiful light airy apartment overlooking the river dart.The out of hours staff were very helpful. Lovely , clean, and comfortable accommodation.

There are no proper directions to the property or the car park facility, which is a good 10 min walk to the apartment. The shower head would not stay in place as not able to tighten it.

Arrival time is more flexible with a lockbox. Easy to use . You do not need to collect from a different location so convenient .

There was no way to open and close the high level windows. A pole like you have for conservatory velux type windows would have been handy. Did not spoil the stay but would have liked to have had the option.

We had a very pleasant stay at this apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival, and all the electrical appliances worked perfectly, which made our stay really comfortable. The furniture was tastefully chosen and gave the place a cozy and modern feel. One of the highlights was definitely the view—absolutely stunning and a great way to start and end each day. It was also a big plus to have allocated parking, which took away the usual stress of finding a spot. It was great that we could also check in before the usual check in time. Overall, a great apartment that we would happily return to.

As mentioned above, great to have allocated parking. However, the parking lot was a bit tight, so maneuvering in and out required some care. Also, we found it slightly uncomfortable that my full name was displayed on the parking permit—something to be aware of for those who are privacy-conscious. Also, on the day, been trying to call and messaged to find out exactly where the parking is, as all I was given was a road. After several tries I received a response. A little slow on customer service. Anyway, this doesn't affect my scoring for 5 stars, as I was rating the stay and not the parking.

The location is spectacular. The balcony overlooking the Dart estuary is the perfect place to sit and enjoy a morning coffee or evening cocktail, watching the ferry coming and going or the steam trains entering and leaving Kingswear station on the far side. The living room and main bedroom are very spacious, and the second bedroom is a good size too. The kitchen is small but functional and fairly well equipped, although probably not well enough for gourmet chefs. The flat is light and airy and comfortably furnished with the necessities.

We had some problems with the equipment in the flat: a room heater and the clothes drier were not working and the kitchen tap was barely flowing. The owners sent a maintenance person round and provided us with a heater very promptly.

There is a moth infestation in the rear bedroom. The ladies clothes in the wardrobe had moths inside them as did other personal items. The curtain linings below the window had mould staining. Some towels had stains and one towel was extremely frayed and threadbare. No shelves in bathroom and not enough towel rails. Hooks on inside of bathroom door were loose. Toilet roll holder very rusty. 4 out of 6 drinking mugs dirty and 3 cereal bowls with food particles on. Teaspoon also unclean. Yellow stain on double duvet cover.
