South Street Apartments

Very stylish comfortable and clean.

The main problem was that the car park was a 10 minute walk through the shopping centre and not possible with luggage for most people. To find the right road and correct loading bay around the ring road to drop off and pick up luggage was stressful at the beginning and end of stay,as the time allowance in the car park did not take this into consideration. All in all a lovely high spec apartment in a central location but more time needs to be allocated for parking at least an hour before and after checkout time please.

Nicely furnished and decorated. Kitchen was well equipped with everything that you could need. Everything worked as it should. Very clean and well maintained. The housekeeper was delightful. The view of the cathedral from the window was spectacular.

I expected the flat to be quiet because it overlooked the cathedral green. Unfortunately post pub groups gathered on both Saturday and Sunday nights. It’s not something the host can control and it wouldn’t bother a lot of people. It would not stop me returning (especially mid week) as my expectations would be different.

The apartments are right next to the Market Cross. They couldn't be more central.

The street front door and the stairs leading up to the apartments are a bit cramped.

Location

It stated washing machine and there wasn’t and most of the coffee pods were decaf. We were told we could use the other washer and no one showed up to unlock and the bale of laundry remained in the floor at the bottom of the stairs for our trip ! We opened the sleeper sofa and it was full of crumbs and mess.

Great location Perfect for Chichester town parking is about 7-8minute walk through the centre of town

It was well located and comfortable and clean.

The shower was adequate but wayer temperature rose and fell but we got used to it.

Beautifully presented, sparkling clean. It had everything you’d need for a short stay. We were greeted with a little bottle of wine, crisps & flapjacks, milk in the fridge was much appreciated. We stayed in Flat 3, a small, but very smart studio flat. Everything was spotless and there was so much it offered.

We had the room at the front of the building and have to admit that we didn’t have the best few nights of sleep. Street noise into the early hours, completely not the owners fault, but that coupled with a bed that we both found to be uncomfortable. Again, that’s a personal opinion. The apartment itself was very quiet, comfortable and well thought out. Plenty of wardrobe space, and overall the apartment felt roomy.
