The Studio Cheddar - With Wood Fired Hot Tub, Near Cheddar Gorge

Both me and my partner loved the property as a whole! Learning it was hand made, made the experience feel even more special. The owners were happy to help whenever needed and always had a quick response when questions were asked. The area is beautiful and we hope to continue our adventures with their second apartment in Dartmouth.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

This place was everything which we wanted. The bed was comfortable, we had no problem with the TV as we only use streaming platforms anyway, the kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was lovely and stocked well with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The hot tub was lovely, the hosts extended the pump to 11pm for us and the fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. The hosts were amazing, any questions that we had, they answered and the set up they did for my birthday was amazing! We will definitely be recommending this place to others.

There was nothing wrong with the property, one thing which would be handy would be the outside lights being on longer in the evening. I believe that they go off before 10pm so in the winter, it really is pitch black outside when trying to get to the hot tub or fire but this is just a suggestion. This isn’t to do with the property but the only thing we wanted to let people know about is that a lot of the chinese takeaways near by are cash only and a lot of the takeaways near by are unreliable. If you want to order something for delivery, make sure to put specific delivery instructions as they will deliver it to a different house within the cul-de-sac.

Clean, good location, everything we needed for a weekend away!

Personal preference probably wouldn’t chose a fire lit hot tub, just not as easy as a button but lovely and hot once it’s lit!

The lodge was really nice, clean, with a nice comfy bed, some board games to play and a good coffee machine.

Hot tub was a little tricky to keep the temperature at a comfortable heat, was either too hot or a to cold, no bubbles and a bit of effort to get it lit.

Loved how modern, how well facilitated it was

One small thing bathroom was chilly didn’t seem to heat up well like the rest of the property

Quiet location, excellent facilities , home from home. Great communication with host. Gorgeous hot tub.

It was secluded and the owners had thought of all the little extras that made our stay there so special. Also the hot tub was so lovely to use at the end of the day.

Nothing, just the mechanical heat recovery fan was a bit noisy at times but we got used to it.
