Mill View Apartment - Self contained one bed apartment

Convenient location

Very, very cheaply furnished. Poor state of repair. Cramped. No heating in bathroom. Limited heating throughout. Thin duvet; coverlet for a single not double bed. Only one plug for microwave & kettle so only one or other can be used. Kettle / microwave plug socket in awkward to reach location. Access stair lighting too short a duration so plunged into darkness half way down.

The only place in Oxford that was within our budget to stay 1 night before the half marathon

The studio is very old. You can still see the spider webs in the light fixture on the ceiling... The bathroom is touched up in a very "quick and dirty" way

Que la comunicación con los anfitriones era fácil y rápida. Hubo un problema con la ventana de la habitación que no cerraba y por tanto hacía frío. Pero tras contactarles, amablemente subieron la temperatura y ofrecieron más mantas. Les comenté el tema de la suciedad y también dijeron que lo solucionarían. La ubicación también es adecuada para visitar Oxford.

La ventana estropeada era un problema anterior pero es algo que puede pasar. El mayor problema es que las fotos de Booking no muestran el estado real de la habitación, que tiene las paredes sucias, con manchas, polvo y telarañas (muestra una falta de higiene básica, ya que con un trapo eso se quita). De haber sabido el estado real, no habríamos reservado en este sitio. Fue muy incómodo llegar a descansar y no poder hacerlo por tener que dormir en una habitación con aspecto descuidado , sucia, y encima con precio descompensado.

The location is close to the town centre and station. The staff were very helpful. The road and area are quiet.

The decor is dated and the laminate floor cracked. Also through the night the pipes were making loud noises and I was woken up multiple times,
