It's central. Close to the train station.

It's not an appartement. The room is small with a stove in the entrance. There's barely space to put your suitcase. There's mold in the bathroom. It's quite noisy as you can hear all the other rooms. It's expensive.

Very convenient for Oxford station. Clean and well equipped.

There wasn’t much space. It was absolutely fine for a one-night stay but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer.

The train station was a 5 minute walk away & an easy 15 minute walk to the city centre. Quiet neighbourhood.

The house is old, the room was small & tired. There was damp on the windowsills, furniture was dated. We stayed for 3 nights and the room was not cleaned, although that was not a major problem at least one change of towels would have been nice. Our major problem was inconsiderate guests staying in the room above who kept us awake until 4am the first night by slamming doors, banging & crashing around throughout the night. I contacted Yolanda the following morning via message & she responded within minutes & promised to talk to them. Unfortunately the noise continued the following night and on our final night the excessive noise continued until at least 5.30am. We left the following morning after just 1 hours sleep! The main problem is the owner does not live on the premises so any problems cannot be resolved immediately so we had to endure the excessive noise all night before we could even make a complaint. If you want a guaranteed goods night sleep DO NOT STAY HERE!

The room was clean at check-in. Check-in instructions were very clear. Communication with host was direct and on time. Location is great, very close to train station. There were extra pillows in the cupboard. Dryer, iron, microwave, kettle and a small refrigerator were provided. Kitchen size is only suitable if you want to reheat something, not a lot of space to cook anything. Two plates and cutlery were also provided. Heating was good and the water pressure was perfect.

The bathroom was cleaned with a very strong bleach right before our check-in and smelled horrible. It took a day for the smell to subside by opening the window. The building has 5 rooms converted into individual apartments which means you can hear everything all the time. The stairs are creeky and steep. We had a huge suitcase that we had to lug up the stairs. Very risky. During our stay someone complained about TV noise, even though we were watching on low/normal volume, totally acceptable everywhere but because the walls and doors are very thin we had to avoid watching TV the whole time we stayed. Spoiled our experience as we ended up staying indoors more because of the storm and rain. The mattress was really really bad. Made of cheapest foam I guess. It sunk wherever you sat or slept. Not comfortable at all. I guess if nothing else is available and you only need a place to crash for the night this might suit you otherwise avoid.
