The Apple Loft

It was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and available if needed. The Loft was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location was excellent for visiting all the places we wanted to visit.

There was nothing we didn't like!

We really enjoyed our stay at the appleloft barbara was very welcoming and she left us to it after the initial welcome the appleloft was very cosy

There was no seperate sink from the bathroom to wash dishes so we had to do our washing up in the bathroom

Very comfortable, high quality furniture and equipment, generous sized bed, friendly welcome from owner, generous (2pm) check in time, nice warm towels with timed towel rail in bathroom, pretty setting with views of large well kept garden, clever use of the space available.

The only slight niggle was the arrangement of washing up in the bathroom basin with the draining rack leaving little space to put sponge bag etc. But given the good value, this was acceptable and I can’t see how else it could be done other than perhaps an additional shelf somewhere to put items on.

Very good location, and well appointed

Lovely little loft in the village, with a great pub. Friendly hosts who were very kind to let us check out late as we had ridden the Dunwich Dynamo overnight so were very grateful for some sleep before we left. It really is like a hotel room, you should not go there and expect to be able to self-cater. There is a fridge and a microwave.

Nothing all good

Location was perfect for our needs. Short break to visit RSPB Minsmeer.

Thank goodness we had use of kettle, microwave, etc, as there was only 1 pub serving food, ( until 8.-8.30 only !, and on sat fully booked!. so ended up driving to nearest Tesco, to buy a microwave meal!

one side of the property has a window ( plain glass) that does not open, but as the temperature was high ( 30+), we found it VERY hot, too hot at night in fact- uncomfortably so - it would be idea that that window is replaced so if it opened, a breeze would be enabled throughout. Had we not had a fan we would have had to leave, but even then it was VERY hot.
