Dart Retreat

The property’s location was great, perfect for our couple of days in Dartmouth. Comfortable beds, and great facilities.

The beds were comfortable but mattress stained

The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and dirty. I had to clean it as soon as we arrived. The sink overflow was caked in black gunk. The toilet was also filthy. Urine underneath the seat and fittings. Blood underneath the rim. The toilet brush was full of feaces. Shower filthy. Would be easy to clean just hadn't been done. All around the floor edging was grimed. Shower is dangerous as it fluctuates from scalding hot to freezing cold. Impossible if you had small children. Host did refund a night's money but then came on check out day and was very abrupt and rude. Dirty smelling wash mits left on kitchen sink?? Unable to sleep due to blinds letting in the lights from oap flats opposite. Kitchen floor black with dirt with was on feet after showering. Smelt damp and the fridge was caked in old milk. Stained mattress protector which I can only conclude was body fluid of some kind. Entrance resembled a hostel. Very smelly and dirty.

Comfy beds, location, outside garden, hooks and plenty of toilet roll.

Cleanliness of the showerhead, fridge, in-between furniture, behind beds. Could do with a deep clean, door mat, 4 slice toaster, check in instructions sent earlier and specify which keybox, plus was confused cos the booking said 41a but the arrival day instructions said 41 so some clarity on that explaining that once you go through the 41 door then you'll see 41a would help.

Very well equipped and comfortable. Very well located in Dartmouth.

Overall it was good a little noisy, could hear people in the street very well. Windows insulation not too good.

Paul was very friendly and professional. Dart retreat was very comfortable and a central location. The accommodation is very well maintained. Will definitely book again.

the hosts were lovely and very accommodating and allowed us to enter the property early meaning we could start our break as soon as we arrived in beautiful Dartmouth.

the kitchen has an Ant Infestation. the window in the bedroom can only be opened from the floor up so it cant be left open at all as you would risk animals entering the room or worse a person so if the weather had been any warmer it would have been very very uncomfortable

The host was extremely accommodating, very easy to find the location and very spacious

The parking situation is a bit of a task but that is what it is like all round Dartmouth so fully expected that
