No breakfast provided unless you paid additionally. Although the property was very pleasant, if bijou, there was only one small bath towel per person. No hand towels provided. Was surprised given the attention to detail otherwise.

Lovely highly maintained cosy lodge for a couple, brilliant location for the racecourse and for a relaxing weekend in Chester.

Rude and aggressive

Very well appointed lodge. Quiet despite being off a busy road. Outdoor seating area is a suntrap. Well equipped kitchen (although a cafetiere would have been useful). Really comfortable bed, great shower. 15-minute stroll into the city centre. Free water/tea/coffee with extra food/toiletries at a cost to save shopping for breakfast etc. Hosts very friendly andwere very quick to address a broken lamp/coffee machine

The apartment was well stocked with most things needed for a 2 day break. The welcome pack was nice and extras to purchase if required. The shower was good and powerful and nice toiletries. Good parking and friendly helpful owner. Nice small outside area if weather is nice.

Personally, I didn’t like the overpowering smell from the diffusers. The bed was too big for the space and I kept banging my leg on the base. The chairs in the living room were incredibly uncomfortable- too low, soft and too deep. The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet (such a simple thing to fix). There weren’t 2 matching ordinary wine glasses. Unfortunately not the property for us and not particularly cheap.
