Observatory 2 bedroom apartment overlooking Beach

I booked the apartment for a month. While it was nice and the location was good, my stay was unfortunately uncomfortable because several details in the listing in website were inaccurate. The coffee machine didn’t work, the kettle was rusty, and the kitchen utensils (pots and pans) were very old, plus ironing table and cloth dryer rack are broken. They had not replaced them until five days later. In addition, after two weeks the refrigerator suddenly stopped working, causing the food to spoil, and it wasn’t replaced for a week. Despite several complaints, I was only given a small compensation, which was insignificant compared to the damage I suffered.

On entrance, there was a strong smell of sweat, to the point where opening the windows and doors wouldn't get rid of it. We had to go to the local Tesco and buy air fresheners to try get rid of the smell. Also, there was no linen provided for the sofa bed, so we also had to go buy linen and a duvet from Tesco. There were no blinds on the kitchen window above the sink, therefore people walking past could look inside the property. There was a railing there so evidently, there had been blinds previously. The sinks kept on getting blocked and there was just hair everywhere, as if the property had not been cleaned from the previous guests. The bedroom with the en-suite had a draught and would get really cold at night.

Apartment is right on the beach, clean and has everything you need, beds were comfortable. The host was super responsive, appliances were easy to use. Check in and out was straight forward. Above all the location is perfect, it's close to everything and we will definitely be back in the near future.

Nothing i didn't like, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location. Kids could run to the beach from the flat. Everything was near by, all walking distance or a short drive. Rooms were decent size and clean. Flat itself was secure and clean.

Could do with a touch up. Lounge sofa was small and didn’t really accommodate kids and adults.

Beautiful location, easy to check in and out. Well informed. Clean. Reasonable price. Everything we needed. Fully enjoyed it 😊
