Craiglea Thistle

Great location for food, next door to shutters restaurant (we sat outside with the dogs) and just a 2 minute walk from the coop. The apartment is equipped with everything you need to cook a full meal and there is a smart TV to cosy up with a movie at night. The dog park right out the back is handy but the apartment is so close to great nature trails so the dogs can get off the lead and you can walk for hours.

We had a lovely stay! The property was immaculate. it had THE best shower. Nice touch with the dog towel and water bowl for our pups. It was perfect for us as a couple with two little frenchies 😊

My partner is just over 6ft and felt the bed was a little short.

nice space, cosy bedroom and very comfortable nights sleep. lovely location, and the parking was excellent. very well decorated and good facilities. comfortable chairs. excellent local information given.

the provided milk was all out of date which was a bit of a bummer upon arrival. living area coffee tables were poor quality and broke, which we contacted the host about but did not receive a response. we would have felt more comfortable having a second accessible lock on the door, as the single lock did not bring a great deal of security.

Very clean, easy to collect keys! Central location in Killin but if your looking for facilities this time of year not much open.

Reason for poor review is value for money and cold shower! Small apartment which was spotless however small things like no salt in the kitchen are poor for value. Also had cold showers due to low pressure in the boiler which the. Subsequently turned the heating off, had to make a few calls to the host to actually get a plumber to come out and notice the low pressure, once this had been done shower normal but no apology from host. Also feel the 1600-1000 check out/ check is time is poor. Also asked to remove bedding and place in a bag at end of stay, feel with early check out and price this is maybe a little steep!

Location and facilities was excellent. Being on the main road made it very easy to get to. The property was perfect for the two of us and the communication from the owner was very polite and helpful. We went the weekend Killin had 14 inches of snow and because of the severe weather we were allowed to check in slightly earlier than planned. I don't think we'd have made it if we had to check in at the normal time so being granted access was greatly appreciated. The whole place is decorated beautifully and the bed was very comfy too. A great wee place all round!

Nothing to complain about.

The accommodation is very well maintained, it is in centre of village. Private parking , very short distance to supermarket, easy reach to local cafe/restaurants etc. Easy access to walk's around village.

Village it’s self was quiet- but visited just after New Year
