Glastonbury Hayloft close to winter starling murmurations

The location was fantastic, just a 5 minute drive to Glastonbury and bird reserves. The place was spotless and had everything we needed.

Unfortunately the downstairs of the property had a very strong smell of damp

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. Everything was perfect!

The furniture was comfortable. Everything very clean. It felt like homely, not a hotel or B&B lt's Close to Glastonbury by car

I liked it . Enough space to chill after being out all day .

Loved this spot. I would only caution anyone looking at Hayloft to have a car. The buses are infrequent and do not run at all on weekends. Mellow area quite close but not walking distance to Glastonbury.

Nothing. Except for the difficulty getting around with no car but I had been warned!

Location was ideal for visiting the wildlife reserves locally.

There wasn’t anything not to like apart from the road was very busy which could be a challenge if you weren’t confident,but it was dead quiet at night

Large downstairs room and we'll equipped kitchen..Brilliant welcome pack..enjoyed the red wine..thanks. Large bedroom come sitting room with television.good parking area.

Nothing everything was great

Perfect for a short break with basic but well equipped kitchen. I appreciated the “welcome” pack and the book of information about the cottage and surrounding area was informative. If I had had more time in the area it would have been very useful.

A tray to take things up to the lounge area on the first floor would be help, as would a towel rail in the bathroom to air the lovely large bath towels

Like: Well equipped, easy parking, warm, very clean and nice welcome. Very convenient for Ham Wall RSPB, and local cycling to Glastonbury etc. Very good info pack with maps including the local OS map, really useful. The hosts had made the most of the property and were really helpful with info, and responsive. Thanks! Dislike: Traffic right outside took some acclimatisation. Connecting doors to main house unusual and a bit noisy. Bed terrible - wobbly sprung divan and only a double so we kept waking each other up. A king with a solid base would be much better. Lighting in the kitchen was very dim! Overall we loved the trip to the area but we realised that we took no pictures at all of the cottage, which says a lot.
