Bed was a little firm

The property was highly equipped and was very tastefully decorated. The owners were very attentive and checked on us to make sure we were happy with everything and if we needed anything.

Lovely hosts. Enclosed outside area which was great for the dog. Excellent facilities and very clean.

I booked this due to the exceptional reviews, however not sure how the cleaningless is rated so high. The Bird house is in the back garden of the actual house and if i knew this i wouldnt stay there. The property requires better cleaning regime as our dog found some peanuts under the bed. We werent sure if she ate any at the time but the dog was acting strange during the stay and barely ate any food. We made them aware of this and the cleaner returned to clean. Later on we noticed there were cowebs in various places but we didnt notify the owners as we would wasted time on doing a proper clean. The sofa in the lounge seems like was never properly cleaned as they were crumbs and dog hair everywhere between cushions. Under the sofa was full of hair and the additional cushions were smelly and with yellow spots. The place had some damp/funky smell. The wardrobe was also having funky smell and the fabric on the storage boxes looked like had mould in the past, as there were spots everywhere. The actual wardrobe had what appeared as makeshift vents at the bottom and moisture absorbants were hang everywhere. The bin in the bathroom had no lid as it was broken, so i suggest you dont throw any sanitary waste in it unless you want to look at it when washing your face. The driveway would benefit of trimming down the plants and bushes to prevent scratches to cars and there is space to open doors only on one side. We would have left the first day but we couldnt find anything else available at such short notice. The place is definetely not worth what we paid for.

Lovely little apartment. Loved the homemade flapjacks left for us. Bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed the spa bath. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return in the future.
