Ground Floor Barmouth Centre Apartment With Garden

Fantastic location and garden a massive plus with having dogs with us

It definitely needs modernising and a deep clean. It is such a lovely place and could definitely charge more if this was done .

The reviews are not a true reflection of this property Shabby entrance hall, old fashioned furnishings and strong smell of damp Had a few messages before our visit offering us an extension to our stay We decided not to stay, requested some sort of refund but heard nothing

We booked the apartment last minute for a short break away. The location was perfect right in the centre and close to all facilities. The communication with the booking Manager Roy was excellent and he responded really quickly and with the key code provided we were able to access the property on arrival. The bonus of a parking permit was a really useful & nice touch which we used in Barmouth, Harlech and Dolgellau. The property is also dog friendly ( NB - The entrance could also do with a better security light as very dark returning at night. )

We really don't like giving negative reviews but whilst the apartment is spacious and offered everything we needed, unfortunately it is tired and needs a DEEP clean & tidy especially the wet room. We had to wash some kitchen equipment before using as greasy and the windows / window sills were very grimy, cobwebs everywhere. We love Barmouth and lucky to get a booking so short notice in between Christmas and New Year so it didn't stop us having a lovely break which was needed after 2 months recovering from surgery, but unfortunately unlikely we would book again which is such a shame as we stop in self catering / air BNB's etc 5-6 times a year all different budgets and everyone we've stayed in before we would revisit. NB Our personal preference but bed was also very soft. Also having visited Wales 4 times in the last 12 months every other property had strict recycling rules and facilities but this didn't.

Roy our host was fantastic! 👏 made us feel very welcome we loved the apartment, great location, it was very well equipped and clean, perfect for our needs very dog friendly 🐕 already planning our next visit

Nothing to dislike except having to go home.

Perfectly situated in the heart of the town. The apartment had free parking, either on the road infront, when available or in the main car park, which is within easy reach. Roy, who manages the apartment, lives next door, so can be easily contacted should there be a problem. He was was very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The garden infront of the apartment is ideal in nice weather and perfect if you have a dog.
