Atlantic View, Penzance

Very spacious and cosy apartment. Lounge and kitchen area both excellent- very comfortable sofas and kitchen well equipped with the table located in front of the window overlooking the sea. Large balcony with furniture. Large bathroom nicely done.

Our only issue was the noise in the main bedroom in particular; the windows didn’t seem to block out any sounds and the blinds allowed a lot of daylight in. I can imagine in the summer months being woken up at first light. Also a bigger bed would have been better; I’m guessing it is a double. The room is very spacious with lots of storage and could easily take a bigger bed.

That we could not get 2 keys.

Not one thing

The view was great. Facilities was great. Bed and shower brilliant.

Car parking terrible. Arrived at 3pm but unable to park until 6.15pm had cars and camper vans etc parked outside fish shop all week, states 30 minutes. Entrance to property disgusting and very smelly (drains). Doors left open all night from upstairs guests. Squeaking floors and doors in accommodation. Not able to get a good reception on most tv channels until after chip shop shut at 8pm. Guests upstairs feeding seagulls by throwing bread and cream crackers onto roof and ending up on the balcony which had to be cleaned up along with bird crap on chairs/tables etc.

Was just what we look for in a property

Good location and views

Bathroom tiles stained. Stains on walls and kitchen door. Shower drain slow to clear. Windows dirty and unable to fully open. Only 1 key for all windows. Patio door lock broken, therefore lack of security. Main bed mattress hard and uncomfortable. Advertised as having parking but unable to park outside flat between 9am - 6pm and promenade parking within walking distance always full. Not value for money paid.

The apartment was very well equipped and very clean. Good WiFi connection. Excellent shower.

We had an electrical problem affecting the lighting for 24 hours but the housekeeper provided temporary lights for the stairs while it was sorted out, and it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the apartment. Very impressed by swift response when we reported the problem.

The property is lovely. Beautiful views. Really comfortable beds and sofa. Lots of space in the property and a laundry room. Fishing nets and toys and lots of games and puzzles made this place like home from home. The location is excellent.

There is nothing I didn't like about this property. I would certainly recommended to anyone coming to penzance.

They left a nice welcome pack that consisted of cake, wine and milk. This was an amazingly thoughtful touch and was very appreciated. The location was also great, with amazing views.
