Lovely location and comfortable apartment

Some very low ceiling areas for anyone 6ft or taller. We were unable to get the key fob to work opening the gate when walking but we went out in the car so wasn’t a problem as it opened automatically when driving.

Peaceful location. Beautiful gardens and private area over looking the river. Easy access and parking.

The location and apartment were stunning. Very beautiful and elegant inside. The host Lisa was very helpful.

Unfortunately I struggled to access the main building due to some very deep shingle which my wheelchair wouldn't work on. The lovely upstairs neighbour Robert came out to assist me and my friend. Secondly the front entrance isn't wheelchair friendly either. It has a small step and a frame to get over. Once inside it quickly became clear that the bathroom isn't accessible in a wheelchair. The ramp that's been fitted over 2 steps that leads down to the bedrooms is too steep for a wheelchair (even my friend had trouble with her feet slipping whilst trying to walk on the ramp) So I had to struggle without my chair to get to bed. The oven door doesn't close properly so dinner took forever. There is no lighting outside and it's pitch black, maybe take a torch! We had a few issues with the gate and getting it to open for delivery but Lisa was very helpful and called me straight away even though she was in Egypt! I am not meaning this to be harsh on this lovely accommodation or Lisa the host (I would recommend it if you aren't disabled to the point of wheelchair dependency, it's stunning and well equipped with games, DVDs and books.) I simply don't want anyone else in my position to feel the disappointment I felt when I had to stay within the accommodation for the duration of our stay. Highly disappointing as it truly is very beautiful.

Superb apartment, very comfortable and well-equipped kitchen. Small me lovely touches and perfect for a family of four. Great to have two bathrooms! Location was idyllic. Beautiful little garden and outside space. Lovely grounds to wander around. We would love to return.
