Large space, very clean, lots of family facilities, games and outdoor space. Overall good.

Minor stuff…light bulb out at the bottom of the basement stairs(bedroom/bathroom) where it’s poorly lit. Smoke detectors look a bit old and none in bedroom. Shower tray gets quite full quickly so might be a risk of over flow. Needs instruction pack for heating and TV.

The property had good parking and had all the amenities that we needed for our stay. We were particularly grateful to David for contacting us and being understanding of our situation. He modified workman coming in to accomodate our rather unexpected stay. He was very friendly and helpful.

Much of what we didn't like had to do with an error I made in the booking. Booking.com keeps your search at the calendar month of your previous search and I did not notice this. I booked for 2027 and arrived in 2026. Thankfully I was able to ammend the booking to ensure David was paid. I think Booking.com should do something about this feature to ensure that every search starts with 'today'. I was rather shocked to think that we had the code for the keysafe 1 year early and were able to enter the property. What if someone else had been there? I hate to think. However, even if the property had been ready for us, it did look rather tired both outside and inside. It is in need of renewal. The flooring is worn out. The sink in the bathroom was blocked too. It just needs a little tlc. This property looks like it is best for a young family as the garden was filled with play equipment. There were high chairs and a dart board in the kitchen.

The facilities were generally good and we appreciated the complimentary milk bread orange juice marmalade etc

The shower was very difficult to adjust to the correct temperature. Some of the drawers in the bedroom didn't open properly.

Excellent facilities well presented would definitely book again

The only thing we couldn't find was cutlery otherwise everything fine
