Nant Apartment - Ground Floor

Great location and access

Staying in the area to take part in the Angelsey 10K. Very close proximity to the event village/start line less than a 10 minute walk. Also in walking distance to the town shops.

The windows in the front room were open when I arrived which wasn't great as a cold evening. There was a problem with the door code I was given so I had to telephone the owner who gave me the updated code. It was dealt with swiftly who apologised which was good. Just not ideal as a slight delay with getting in the property when it was cold. No condiments in the cupboard. Would have expected at least the basics of salt and vinegar. I suggest letting guests know that only the bare minimum is provided. Cold in the flat at times and not ideal to contact the owner if you require an adjustment to the heating so unfortunately I just put extra layers and throw over me. The microwave needed a clean as leftover rice remnants. Lack of storage/hanging space especially for coats. Quite noisy with traffic noise as on a main road. I personally don't agree with asking paying guests to strip the bedding and place used towels in a washing bag provided.

Perfect location - comfortable & had everything there.

People staying in the flat above kept forgetting to lock the outside front door from the inside!

The space and structure

The location was amazing. So many places to eat within easy walking distance. Newborough beach is beautiful and only a 20 minute drive. We were toasty warm and the bed was really comfy. Huge red bin out the back of the property meant we didn't have to worry about taking rubbish home. We easily got our heads round the parking situation. The car park at the rear always had plenty of room.

We could have done with a caffetier as we had brought our favourite filter coffee. Apartment door was a bit noisy to shut. Some smaller tumblers would have been nice. The information in the guest book regarding internet access didn't work so we used the password on the router in the bedroom which worked. Anyway, none of these things spoiled our stay.

Great location and it was perfect for what we needed in terms of facilities and space.

It would have been good to have more control of the heating. The heater in the bedroom was not turned on at any point and we could not override. There was an option to contact the owners regarding this which we could have taken however, I believe this shouldn't be required. I think it should be accepted that the people using the facilities have control of how warm it needs to be.
