Beautiful 6 bedroom house for 17 guests next to Edgbaston Stadium

Very close to city centre. Nice clean and quiet place. Lots of parking. It has good size of kitchen, seating and dining area.

The house was roomy and fitted our party well. Plenty of space for parking. Accessible location for the centre of Birmingham.

There were some key items missing. No way of lighting the cooker. Heating wasn't turned on and took time to heat up the house. Some rooms missing bedside lights. There needs to be a curtain in the downstairs bathroom which leads off the kitchen as otherwise people showering can be seen from the kitchen. The dining room is unheated and therefore unusable in the winter. We had wanted to eat dinner at the table but this was impossible. Would have been good to know this.

The property is not beautiful as advertised. Several of our part cut themselves on nails sticking out around the house. Very dangerous window pain broken in bedroom. Curtains and blinds broken and falling down. Window handle locked but window could be pushed open from in or outside. Cooker hob dirty with grease. Kitchen very dusty. Dog faeces on driveway when we arrived covered up with leaves and children walked in it. PVC window cill broken and sharp edges exposed. I’m not sure what the criteria is for letting but I would have serious doubts that this property complies.

said it was a beautiful 6 bedroom house , far from it , in need of modernisation , cracked plaster , hole in bedroom floor , no light switches on landing posing a health and safety risk, conservatory doors unsecured could easily be kicked in ,could not leave valuables in the house, bath unclean human hairs found , so much for cleaning company they hire, upstairs bedroom had a broken window pane, settee split in lounge , all second hand furniture uncomfortable. remote control would not work the tv batteries corroded. told the property company but they were disinterested in these deficits . no plug in kitchen sinks , no tin opener only one oven glove , told the property company , not interested a case of go out and buy your own. booking.com were not interested either shameful will not use again , and take my name off the system , DO Not go to this property ,very dated , poorly maintained ,uncomfortable , also watch the 200 deposit in case of damage what about them paying you 200 back for poor standard of property ,booking.com just do not care

Location was great.

The house was dated but served it's purpose for us to the stay the night. Communication with host regarding check in and key access could be improved.
