Harbourside

Location was excellent. The view was delightful. Arrangements for entry and departure were reassuringly straightforward. Parking was very convenient and easy. Property was very clean and up to date. Colourful paintings offset cool white walls. Availability of washing up liquid and basic cleaning materials. Host kindness in leaving milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee, prosecco, biscuits etc appreciated. Welcome were Notes on nearby eateries and contacts information. Maps and binoculars. Radiators worked well in bedrooms and living room. Private outdoor seating area. Although it was too cold and windy to use during our stay!

Mattress in smaller bedroom felt uncomfortable and duvet cover was much larger than duvet so I slept little and badly getting tangled in excess sheet! (Mattress and duvet cover in ensuite room was apparently OK.) Couldn't discover how to get bathroom towel rail to switch on.

The location was fabulous, right beside the harbour. We loved watching the tide go in and out and seeing all the wading sea birds whilst having breakfast. The apartment had absolutely everything you could need and the goody basket on arrival with tea, coffee, bread, butter, jam, shortbread and prosecco was very welcome and very much appreciated. The information pack in the flat was great for ideas and suggestions of what to do while we were there as well as places to eat and emergency contact numbers. The flat was fully stocked with kitchen equipment, cutlery, crockery etc. Excellent wifi coverage too. There was designated parking outside and it was very quiet and peaceful while we were there. We all very much enjoyed our stay and must thank Michelle, our host, who was always available by phone and offered some great tips about things to do in the area.

We had such a lovely, comfortable stay, the welcome basket was a nice little touch, some much needed essentials were there on arrival. We were blessed with really good weather, however, it really wouldn't have mattered if it rained, the property has lovely views, I could have quite happily sat indoors all day admiring them. Communication with Michelle was spot on, no complaints at all.

There was nothing that I disliked. The only one niggle was I couldn't find an ironing board.

Lovely spot with great views over the bay, quiet and extremely well equipped. Michelle's communication was great, the house was spotless, toiletries were provided, and the welcome box of breakfast goodies and prosecco was a lovely touch, and very much appreciated.

Nothing. It was lovely. The only thing we could make a comment on was we found the extractor fan in the main bedroom a bit loud for other guests. Made going for a middle of the night toilet break a bit of an announcement 😂

Great location overlooking the sea and beautiful village of Garliston. Accommodation very fresh and clean with all necessary equipment.
