Luxury 2-bedroom apartment in the heart of Manchester city centre

Central location large property - clean and tidy - comfy bed if you could’ve actually got to sleep. Lovely touches with pods for the coffee machine and biscuits. Great updates from the host.

Not enough utensils in the kitchen - only a wok and one pan, as soon as you turned the grill on to cook breakfast it blew the electrics - twice - we did eventually managed to cook breakfast. We expected noise from the street below - but did not sleep at all in the front bedroom. It needs a black out blind or curtain.

The appartment was in a good location. Instructions were clear. It was very clean, as were the towels. Tea and coffee there for us. Would definitely book again.

The appartment is in need of a little bit of maintenance but it was nothing that affected our stay.

Good location, kitchen had everything we needed, lots of space, close to grocery store and many restaurants.

There was not shampoo, conditioners, handsoap, and not enough towels. Instructions for the shower would be helpful (didn't figure out until the last day that you had to pull a string to turn on the water).

Very spacious and clean, central location so everything was within walking distance.

Could have done with a little more cups/ glasses in the apartment as we didn't have enough for the 6 of us. Although the 2 beds were very comfy, the sofa bed was like concrete, so didn't sleep well at all.

Initially the owner was very helpful but then didn’t respond to the messages. The apartment was big and spacious, a great fridge.

There were a few things wrong with the property- plug sockets broken/hanging off in front room and en-suite, floors scratched, general wear and tear etc. This wasn’t a major problem until I was asked to pay 100 pounds for a lamp that was already damaged on our arrival. The shower in the main bathroom kept switching off, meaning that everyone had to use one shower. The location seemed okay until we left at 6:30 pm and there were two people doing drugs in the doorway entrance to the flats. We had a problem trying to use the sofa bed, it was not easy to operate. We requested help from the owners (who had already stated that he would send a video so it wasn’t damaged) but didn’t receive any help. My brother had to sleep on the sofa which wasn’t very comfortable. Overall, not a great stay but we made the best of it. You will also notice from my other reviews that I have never given a bad review in 10 years- so if you do rent this apartment, just make sure you know what you are getting yourself into and take photo evidence of all of the damage or you they might try to charge you too!
