"I'd defintely consider staying again and I'm happy to recommend Calf Cotts."

I booked at short notice and was very pleased with the accommodation. As a single traveller, it can be expensive booking self catering but this offered real value for money. It's in a lovely location and there's lots to do in the area. It's advertised as an apartment but it's much more than that - it's really a mini cottage, with a ground floor living room and an upstairs bedroom/shower room. Sue was a very friendly host, who was happy to let you just get on with it.

The only things that let it down were the uncomfortable settee. A really comfy arm chair, which you can place to watch the TV, might be a good alternative . I'd also have appreciated a fridge with an ice box so I could refreeze my ice blocks.

Lovely welcome from Sue. The property was very clean. Felt very homely and the beds were really comfortable. The location was quiet with lovely off road routes through stunning orchards…I thoroughly enjoyed my early morning run with the dogs!

Wonderful facilities, well equipped, very clean and spacious. Beautiful setting and Sue was on hand if needed and very hospitable. Would stay again! Considerably cheaper than chain hotels nearby.
