3 flights of stairs down, no lights, dirt and debris everywhere. Smell of damp as soon as you walk in. States take shoes off, wooden floors, its lino and badly damp stained and laid at that. Peeling paint/wallpaper. Windows filthy, threshold filthy full of dirt both sides. Sink blocks in bathroom, an old make up wetwipe in the cupboard under sink. On off button for shower doesn't turn off you have to pull cord a few times to stop it. Your garden area needs tending to its a disgrace. Dust on light sockets and door handles. You need to seriously clean this place, I dropped my glasses behind sofa so pulled it out, packet of half eaten biscuits behind and a lovely thick oblong sofa shaped dirt where the sofa sits. Good job we ate out the cooker should be condemned its thick in grime, food in the glass, remnants of food in door hinge area, hob could be cleaned if you put some effort in to cleaning it. Cup rings on table by door, my friend wiped it and they came off. Bin needs a good clean. Cushions were already out on the patio furniture and dirty, rules state keep inside and dry, they were there on arrival. From the write up it sounds perfect, it is far from this, in this day the competition in a place like Brixham is high, your accomodation is not worthy of a good review or recommendation. You need to sort out the damp, clearly seen visible what the walls are like if you zoom in on the wetwipe/under sink cupboard. You have alot of rules and regulations for your property, try putting more effort into the maintenance and cleaning of this property.

Good location with a lovely view of the harbour. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room and bedroom. Nice to have a sea view from the bed.

We arrived hoping to be able to relax. On going to put my case in the bedroom I discovered the previous occupants' bedding in a heap on the bed. There was a pile of used towels in the bath, crumbs all over the floor and I even found a couple of toenail clippings next to the sofa. I phoned the letting company and they said they would 'speak to the housekeeper'. I wasn't entirely confident that anything would happen and my partner was worrying that we would need to find somewhere else to stay, as we were not prepared to sleep in bedding that had been used by strangers. After two hours of being stressed about this, a cleaner turned up, having been asked to clean the flat as she was about to go home. Subsequent correspondence with the letting company tended to focus on their processes and what may have gone wrong, which was of little interest to me, although they did offer some compensation. I would avoid using Luxury Coastal again if I can.

Nice view , good location , clean, all in all decent accommodation, just shame about a few little things..

Getting hot water in the kitchen and bathroom was tiresome, very slow, needs to be addressed and couldn't have a bath as the bath plug leaks. Sometimes I could hear upstairs neighbours tv etc . Could do with a light on the external steps as pretty dark at night and a bit slippery in the wet.

Very comfortable, well equipped, clean & warm. We felt very relaxed over the Xmas holidays.

Only negative was we don’t have a bath at home, so we bought a few salts & bubble bath for relaxing but the plug would not hold the water therefore the bath wouldn’t fill, minor issue but disappointing. The steps were tricky, especially when wet & with luggage & shopping. Still didn’t detract from the accommodation.

The rubbish had not been put out for collection for a very long time! The notices in the apartment were not very clear. The neighbours reminded us and my husband moved several very large and heavy bags and boxes up the stairs for collection, not everyone would have been able to lift them. Maybe the people cleaning should make a point of checking.

Steps down, handrail rotten and unstable on first flight down. Could not open key safe - took 1/2 hour!
