Self contained accommodation near Delamere forest

Absolutely beautiful location, fabulous views of rolling countryside and so perfectly appointed. We wanted to stay all week it was so lovely. Sarah was incredibly friendly and I cannot fault this gem in any way. Thoroughly recommend.

We liked everything! From the very start of the booking, the owner got in touch welcoming us with clear instructions and details about our stay. Arriving and receiving the key fob was easy and it was a fantastic location. Very quiet and peaceful with idyllic surroundings/views from the apartment (especially if you like the countryside with hills in the distance). It wasn’t too far from Nunsmere Hall hotel for our friends wedding which is why we booked this place. Considering other hotel costs in the area this was the most cost effective and was a real catch! The apartment was immaculate and very cosy/homely. Would definitely come back again - and recommend to friends / family!

Lovely location, very peaceful. Sarah was very attentive. This is our second stay and won't be the last

Overall the properly location was outstanding, gaining access was easy, bed was comfy, and the facilities listed were there, but it was let down repeatedly due to a clear lack of care. The bathroom was poorly maintained with dust filled fan, dirty drip marks on every wall, a door splitting on the edges, and ceiling splitting too. The kitchen had everything listed, but the knives were so blunt that they were dangerous, and the toaster set off the fire alarm TWICE without even being able to toast one thing due to how dirty it was. A lot of the items in the house are just old, functional, but old and in need of some TLC. Unfortunately the main issue for us came that it was not disclosed at all that the apartment is sat on an actively used garage. So from the moment we arrived to when we left, we were continually disturbed. Woken on Saturday morning by the loud electric garage door and what sounded like gardening equipment being pulled out. Then, later on, as we spent time together as a couple having a group of kids throwing pool balls around and shouting right beneath our room where we could hear every word through the floor. Overall the property was decent but just let down and we will not be looking to return.
