"Great location but needs a bit of attention"

Location. Great spot.

We arrived on a cold day, heating set at 12 degrees, took several hours to warm up and the kitchen took until the following day. WiFi not connected. Not very welcoming. Beams in bedroom thick with dust, stained over blanket and balloon left in the ceiling. Such a shame as it has a lot of potential and is in a great location.

"Great for location, but the rest is pretty disappointing."

It was all about the location. Wanted somwhere right in centre as we got over jetlag. Close to shops, castle and food outlets. View to castle is nice.

Needs a good deep clean, musty smell, had to replace heating thermostat batteries...day 2 to get heating back on. Dishwasher stopped working day 2. Very limited kitchen items, or trays to heat food in oven. Overall...it felt very tired inside.

The location

It lacked somewhere to hang coats, nowhere to put toiletries. Could do with a dressing table in the bedrooms. Lacked a personal feel.

"Disappointing"

We decided not to stay as not as luxurious as looked . So unfair to judge our stay entirely .

Entrance not inviting . Very worn entrance hall carpet dirty and threadbare in places . Not as cosy as on the photos .

"We had a great time, in a great position close to everywhere. A bit tired in places, but would definitely stay again."

Very Centrally located. Great views. Well equipped. Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Lots of towels

The stairs to the bedrooms very narrow and twisty , needs another rail on the wall side. No coat hooks anywhere. A bit tired, old leaks visible and carpet on stairs very worn. Lots of dust on beams and the bathroom doors on the panelling. No grill pan.

The location was accurate as per to the description. It was nice waking up to good view. The host was very friendly and the instructions he gave to find the property were very clear.

There was nothing to complain about.
