The Barbershop Apartments

comfortable, clean good shops/restaurants near by. easy to access and you don’t need to worry about keys on a night out. we were visiting for concerts at the Etihad and AO arena and it was only a short Uber ride away (£12-14).

As it is an apartment for 4 it could do with a single chair as the sofa only seats 3. Also, glasses and mugs etc need to be checked for breakages as there were only 3 when we were there. .

Check in from 3 pm, but unfortunately we couldn’t get in until after 4 pm. once we got there, the cleaning team told us will take a while because there’s glitter all over the apartment (unfortunately because of the rushed situation, the floor wasn’t properly cleaned). My partner tried to use the hairdryer, and once plugged in smoke came out of it, nearly exploded in his hand. The bedsheets had stains on it. Bed also very uncomfortable.

the flat is a good size with comfy beds and soft towels. Wi-Fi worked well. we didn’t use anything in the kitchen as we didn’t spend much time there other than sleep.

the flat wasn’t clean when we arrived, the the management company arranged for cleaning the evening we checked in which was lovely. the bathroom has no amenities (washing amenities) so remember to bring some with you. location is quite a bit out of Manchester, but taxis are not as expensive as london here.

The apartment was very clean, modern and close to many amenities. Beds were comfortable. Clean towels and all equipments were provided ready to use. Very easy to follow when checking in or enter the apartment.

The property management company, especially Jess, was very responsive to any issues we had during our stay and I could not fault the customer service received. In general, the apartment was clean and comfortable. Parking was available on the road directly outside between the hours of 6pm and 8am which was perfect as I was out at work in the day. The key pads to open and lock doors worked well and we felt extremely safe and secure inside the property. The kitchen was well equipped, there is access to Netflix and Disney plus and the decoration was moderns and fresh looking.

The bedding appeared dirty on our arrival which was inconvenient as we’d travelled a long way. The management company explained the wrong one had been put on in error and were very apologetic and willing to sort the issue quickly and we could not fault their response to the issue.

thermostat location is is essential to point out in the amenities offered. The first night was very cold because not sure of where the thermostat was located. Otherwise the stay was uneventful

the apartment was really easy to get too and only a 10 minute train from Manchester city centre! Bed was really comfy and facilities were great!
