City Centre Flat, Harbour View

Spacious, close to town, Netflix, host was accommodating, helpful and responsive. He allowed us to check in at 1.30 instead of 3pm. The decor is lovely, nice furnishings and little plants etc, colour scheme attractive.

The cleanliness was shocking. When I pulled back the duvet I could see a long dark hair stuck under thin sheet and on top of mattress topper. Took sheet off to remove it and was absolutely shocked to see the mattress topper heavily stained with body fluids. Turned it over and much the same. We removed sheet and topper and the mattress looked clean. Bought a topper and sheet to use and left there. I’m absolutely livid that someone thinks this is acceptable, it’s removable so could be washed. The green cushions on bed had white stains and the hummingbird picture splattered with liquids, the room smelt musty, skin was crawling. In the morning the sun shone through the curtains as not blackout. The microwave is a disgrace, so rusty and dirty, the kitchen sink area had a rubber mat on it, I peeled it back to reveal brown , weird dirty water under it. Cooker top was dirty, full of crumbs, cooker hood with a good layer of grease on it.Inside cupboards were very dirty. Bathroom mat was wet, not sure if washed or some stranger has drip dried on it, the blinds cord to enable you to put it down has been tied up so you can’t do that. Standing in a shower not knowing what the people outside can see of my body showering, no dignity or privacy. The plant in the bathroom and the blinds with a thick layer of dust on them. Shower curtain useless, the bath is on a slope and the shower not powerful at all. The stair carpet looks like a historic issue, son slid off the step as the carpet was loose, doesn’t seem sorted at all. Tv had fingerprints all over it and the settee cushions had dirty marks on them.

It was clean and neat.

The location was not great - “City Centre” really meant industrial estate. We were disappointed about the misleading info in the ad regarding location.

The host was really helpful and answered any questions very quickly.

It was a bit of a walk into the city centre, however we found a nice river walk.

The inside was really comfortable

The location and the inside of the cupboards were dirty.

The apartment was exactly as pictured. Conor was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Double bed was extremely comfortable.

Maybe a bit noisy during the day outside with traffic but quieted down for sleeping. Could use a couple fans as it would muffle the noise.
