Ferney Croft

The location was ideal to visit St Ives and we also visited, Lands end, Lizard point, and Falmouth The apartment is a real home from home with great facilities for self catering, very comfortable sofa and bed settee was great. Lots of DVDs, Netflix came in handy when it rained and plenty of games too. Derek was the perfect host who explained how to work Alexa and other stuff like the new recycling rules in Cornwall. It was a very relaxed place to stay, it is old school decorated but that’s part of its charm and relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Also Derek kindly left a travel pack of shampoos etc and a box of fudge which was unexpected but very kind an thoughtful- nice touch i thought and also various charging cables

Benefit from a toaster and normal size double bed as that was a very small double bed, so one of used the sofa bed that was great

We had a very nice few days. The host provided everything we needed, and more. Very convenient location.

The décor is a bit dated, but everything works perfectly and there was absolutely everything we needed. Derek, the owner , is very welcoming and adieu some Lively personnal touches.

How he host

We have been booking this type of accomodation for many years. Derek is the best host we have ever met. He was very helpful and prepared all the information regarding property and exploring Cornwall. He clearly explained using of all facilities so we could stay and rest without any problems. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and drinks / snacks prepared for us. The bed was comfortable, towels ready to use. We enjoyed fast wifi, smart tv, a lot of brochures regarding Cornwall. We definitely recommend the place and will come back in future

Nothing. It was perfect.

This was a charming village and flat. Very quiet and we woke up to the chirping of birds. Great spot to travel anywhere around Cornwall. Derek is a very gracious and helpful host and took time in explaining the facilities and their usage. He goes over and above when explaining how to use everything offered rather than some who would list facilities but would be sullen if you use them.

The double bed was small and a tight squeeze for 2 adults but if both are tired after a long day it should not be bothersome.
