"Apartment review"

Was nicely decorated, the furniture was comfortable and had everything you'd need, the shower was very nice to use.

A lot of the kitchen equipment and cutlery were dirty and clearly hadn't been washed properly which was quite unpleasant meaning we had to wash everything again before we used it. The dish washer didn't work well either as we still had to wash the items again after they had been in the dish washer. It also would've been good to have some kitchen roll and surface spray available to make it easier to clean up.

"everything was great apart from the lack of cleaning and dirt, which was a big dissapointment."

there was no breakfast?

It was NOT clean. Walls scuffed. carpets dirty, pots dirty, cutlery and crockery in dishwasher, Curtains in bedroom not attached properly. over not working, Sofa was filty and had not been cleaned for ages, with food, crumbs, chocolate, and fingernails under the cushions. and no broom or mop available for me to self clean. photos taken and sent to Managing agents.

"my stay was incredibly disappointing"

the property was big and contained all the necessary furniture.

The property had 3 out of 4 lamps that did not work in the bedrooms. the main fixture in one bedroom was missing a bulb, and the lights in the corridor and living room did not work. Despite contacting Hopewell, this was not resolved within the 3 days I was staying at the property. Additionally, on arrival I found someone else in my apartment which made me question the security measures in place. Hopewell weren’t aware of the individual in the property and as a result I was left feeling uneasy throughout my stay leading to me packing my belongings and taking them with me to work in my car everyday; in the off chance someone else could access the apartment. I did call up on the morning of my check out date to convey all this to the company and I’m not sure if the agent cut the call or the line disconnected however, I did not receive a call back to address my concerns. I also asked for a partial refund as I paid for a serviced apartment within which I expected all things to work and I have not received any communication from management with regards to this. I have stayed with Hopewell before and have always recommended them but after this stay, I will definitely feel discouraged to recommend the service.

The flat is tastefully decorated and spacious for 3 of us. Check-in was easy and the flat was clean. With a car, the location was good for visiting Bristol and surrounding area.

During our stay, the bedside lights in both rooms (3 out of 4) were not working and the curtain rail in one of the bedrooms was broken (there is a blind so at least it was still livable given we were on the ground level). Issues were reported promptly but was not rectified during our 3 nights stay. Flat was clean except some the dishes/pots and one of the pans we took from the cupboard was not even washed.
