2 Bedroom Apartment

The overall impression of this apartment was good. It had everything that was needed. Separate rooms for some privacy among the group. The best advantage of this flat is definitely its price- you won't find anything cheaper in London. You may find there a kettle, an oven, a tv with access to netflix and a wifi router, a spacious living room. The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet. There are also some shops nearby like TESCO and restaurants like McDonald's. We received fresh towels and we could arriver earlier than it was firstly said. The owner did not have a problem with that.

It is old and needs some renovation. I mean, walls were dirty and the barthroom was not in an excellent condition. The biggest disadvantage is that you need to travel aproximately an hour to the city centre of London, however if you know how to use google maps, the connection is pretty good and for us it wasn't a big deal. There is a bus stop 2 minutes from the flat.

The host was excellent. They upgraded us to a larger apartment after we were let down by a different host the day before w were due to fly into London for a family occasion. The host here looked after us in every way they could, 10/10 from me!

The host was accommodating in terms of late arrival and later check out. They even got a man to knock on the door and deliver loo roll at 10:30pm after we arrived - it was a little unnerving opening the door late at night to a stranger but appreciated the gesture. Decent size little flat, towels rolled nicely in bedroom and the mattresses were comfortable. Good size TV with access to Netflix! It was basic but done the job - it was close to where we needed to be next day.

The photos don't show how worn some parts of the flat are. Broken bedroom door frame like the door had been forced and the bathroom door didn't lock. It felt a little like it has been student accommodation. Having said that we did feel safe overnight, it was in a very quiet location. It was late at night when we arrived, some milk in the fridge and some tea bags would have been appreciated. Also, a map of local shop (we were driving around looking for a shop to be open quite late at night in an area we didn't know) and some take away menus would have been good. It would be easy to provide some small touches to make the accommodation a little more comfortable for a very small price and charge a bit extra. Additionally, I would have happily paid an extra £10 for tea/coffee biscuits. A toaster would also be an asset to this property.
