Queen Street Apartments

3rd time I've stayed in these apartments and will most definitely stay again. Apartment spotless as always!

Having to leave!

Lovely and clean inside the apartment. Had everything we needed.

The communal stairs did not leave a good 1st impression. Need a good vacuuming.

Beautiful apartment and literally round the corner from town centre. The hosts were fantastic before, during and after my stay.

It was very clean, the kitchen and utensils were new. The bed was comfy ( maybe a wee bit small for two?) Very well positioned in the town. Washing machine that worked. Loved the free wifi which was excellent. The water was really hot and that was a big bonus. Nice welcome gift which I appreciated.

With the wide window at the front and on my own I felt really exposed in the evening as people walking by going and coming from the pub looked in and it being light until 10 I didn't want to draw the curtains at 7 pm. Half nets ( I know, a bit boring these days) would be a really good idea and they could be drawn across or not as the guest wishes. Can I suggest a chain on the door for peace of mind as a couple of arrivals for the other apartments knocked on my door and I couldn't see who was there. The only thing missing was a hairdryer and I would have liked one.

We travelled by train so lack of parking did not matter.

Accommodation on 2nd floor up several flights of stairs could be a challenge for luggage

Perfect location for accessing Solway Hall venue . Central too

Apartment was clean and had all we needed for a short stay

Stairs were steep and hard work for our advanced years Apartment not suitable for tall people,we have many bumps and bruises. We felt extremely vulnerable with regards to fire safety ,on the fourth floor with no fire escape.

Great location only minutes from the town centre
