GBI stay here quite often , it is very well managed, all staff are outstanding, hats off to cleaning and maintenance. I have yet to experience any faulty equipment or Sub par cleaning
A bit inflexible on check in times , can be a pain
GBGBLocation is perfect, peaceful and easy to get to the Lake District. Quiet hours on an evening mean it’s lovely and there isn’t someone partying all night. There’s a pub at the end of the street which is lovely. Lovely canal behind the marina which is a lovely walk.
Under the microwave looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for several weeks. The bathroom also has some damage that would look much better fixed and a fresh lick of paint on the dirty walls. Booking.com states 3pm check in but it is actually 4pm. If you want an early check in it has to be done 48 hours before arrival but that’s only if you drop lucky and the emails from the accommodation are actually sent to you!
GBApartment was better than expected, each bedroom practically had its own bathroom. The littles details were thought of such as a pint of milk ready in the fridge, complimentary tea/coffees/border biscuits and even a reusable shopping bag. The apartment was very clean, easy to access and the views were beautiful.
Other reviews mentioned about noise from the road, you could hear some but it was nothing that kept you awake at night so I wouldn’t let this put you off.
GBLoved the view over the Marina. We had a lovely walk along the canal, we spent some time at Greenlands farm and enjoyed a lovely meal at Longlands pub, all of which were on the doorstep! The milk in the fridge was a lovely added bonus too!
